For most kids, the last day of school marks the beginning of fun summer days filled with sunshine, laughter and friends. For others, it means the end of the critical in-school meal programs that keep their growing bodies healthy & strong.
That’s why we created After the Bell.

Help Deliver 175,000 Healthy Food Packs to Children in Need
Summer’s supposed to be a time when kids learn to dive at the community pool, or soar to the sky on the swings at the local playground. But that’s really hard to do when you’re hungry. You can help change that!
In 2021, we were able to deliver 150,000 healthy food packs to food banks across Canada to distribute to high-need communities.
We’re determined to deliver 175,000 packs in 2022, each containing healthy, kid-friendly foods of healthy food choices — and we’re looking for your help to get us there.

Did you know?
Over 300,000 children in Canada struggle to get food each month.

What's in a pack?
Each pack contains child-friendly, nutritious foods. The packs are assembled at our packing day event with shelf-stable items such as milk, hummus, crackers, cereal, oatmeal and sunflower seeds. The packs are then sent to the local food bank who uses grant money to supplement the food packs with perishable items such as apples, sugar snap peas, cheese, and yogurt.

Packing Day 2019
An unforgettable experience!

"This was the first year I've had the good fortune to participate in distributing After the Bell food packs and seeing the impact being made in our Windsor-Essex community. Seeing the looks on the faces of so many grateful children is something I'll never forget"
